Google Chrome is testing a split-screen multitasking feature — here's how it will work



 Popular user Leopeva64-2 announced a new feature in Google Chrome called "Split Screen," which allows users to view two tabs side by side within a single window, improving the multitasking experience. (Reddit)

Split Screen is a significant step toward enhancing productivity, as users can now:


View two websites simultaneously within a single window.


Easily switch split tabs.


Saving time and effort compared to opening multiple windows.


According to Leopeva64-2, a new option has been added in the Canary release of Chrome that allows users to switch split tabs by double-clicking the edit bar.  (Chrome Unboxed)
